Week of August 17
This week we will start work in our textbook Readers Journey, (now referred to as RJ). Our Big Question for this unit is Is truth the same for everyone? Through this unit, our objectives are as follows:
- Explain how broad questions help in interpretation of literature
- Identify and understand literary terms, particularly those associated plots in fiction
- Identify types of fiction and nonfiction
- Compare and contrast fiction and nonfiction
