It’s the start of a fresh year here at McClure; I’m so glad you get to be a part of it with us!
First, some exciting news for the Orchestra: We have our own website! It can be found at http://McClureOrchestra.googlepages.com
On the site can be found every possible form, handbook and information you could need. There are links to other very good sites useful to string players, from how to practice to internet societies to interactive, fun sites from a couple national orchestras.
I will still be posting here as well, but all forms can be found at the Orchestra Website, both to ease your ability to find documents and to lessen needed server space for McClure.
Some upcoming dates to remember:
August 15: 7th and 8th grade students bring instruments.
August 27-30: McClure Symphony string auditions. See Ms. Robertson for an appointment.
August 31: Solo/Ensemble registration forms and fees due.
September 4th: First practice record due
September 7th: All-State application and fees due.
Welcome back, orchestrians. Time to make some music!
