Final Days of School
Great Job Monday night, everyone!
I am very proud of everyone and their performances at our Spring Concert. I hope everyone had as good a time at the reception as I did after our performance, as well. 8th Grade got to enjoy a special cake in class as well, thanks to Ms. Kowalchuk and the other parents who helped with the reception – what a nice treat for them!
In the coming days we will not be using our instruments in class. All school instruments should have been returned to McClure at this point. If you are in 6th or 7th grade and would like to have an instrument over the summer break, please let me know and we can work out a schedule.
Check out the summer music camps in the area – there is a page dedicated specifically to these both here on the blog and at the McClure Orchestra Website for you to check out.
There are also MANY concerts in the area this summer – quite a few of them free! I encourage you to come go see several over the next couple of months.
The Cobb Symphony will be playing (for free!) on the Marietta Square and at Kennesaw State University in late June – come and see your director perform! Check out the Cobb Symphony’s website for details.
