We began writing the Equation of a Line given the slope and y-intercept and we also used the point-slope formula when we have the slope and a point. Your homework is to finish the packet in class, and to work on pg. 37 from the algebra worktext 1-6. Be sure to put all answers in slope-intercept form!!!

Linear Equations

Today we practiced graphing linear equations again! Tomorrow we will be moving on to graphing linear inequalities! Most of you were able to finish the assignment in class, and therefore you have no written homework. You should review the slope formula, read over your notes, and work any problems you have had trouble with! Enjoy your afternoon and I’ll see you tomorrow!

Slope and Y-Intercepts

Today we continued practicing how to find the slope and y-intercept of a line, then how to graph it. If you did not finish, please finish pg 392 from the worktext that we took out of the book! Otherwise, have a great weekend :)

PS: You will have a quiz next Wednesday over finding the slope given two points, rewriting an equation in terms of y (y=) and determining the slope and y-intercept of that equation. You will also need to graph! Just FYI on what’s coming up!

Graphing with Slopes and Y-intercepts

Today we studied how to graph a line using the slope and the y-intercept. Tonight you need to complete the classwork assignment, which is worksheet problems 6-14 (even): solve for Y and graph. Then your homework problems are 5-13 (odd) solve for Y and then graph. Make sure you have these finished by tomorrow!

Today we worked on a graphic organizer explaining how to use a T-Table to graph lines. Your homework is to finish the 8 problem worksheet! Don’t forget to complete the graphs on the back! Unit 4 test
