Solving Systems by substitution

Today in class we solved systems of equations by substitution. I am attaching some notes, and you should read over your graphic organizer that we filled out in class. You will have a quiz over this on Tuesday! Start preparing now! For homework you should complete problems A, B, C and D on the worksheet I gave you. This will be checked tomorrow!!!

Review and Study

Today we went over writing equations of parallel and perpendicular lines! I gave out your study guide for you to attempt to finish by tomorrow ! We will go over the study guide tomorrow and you will have your test Friday!! The test Friday will be the last grade of this nine-weeks! Please be sure to do your best! Remember, there will be a gift card to the movies for the student who scores the highest on this test!!!

That’s your reward for tonight! We will be having a quiz possibly Friday and a Unit 6 test next Thursday. Please review your notes and know your definitions!!!! Reviewing Unit 5

This week we are spending each day reviewing unit 5.  The students have two pink sheets, one bright pink and on light pink. On the brigt pink, complete 11-14, don’t forget to graph. On the light pink sheet complete problems 1-11. Make sure you write the equation of each line!!! You should use these sheets to study for your re-test this Friday!  Students were given 20 minutes to begin this assignment in class. It will be checked for a grade tomorrow!

We began writing the Equation of a Line given the slope and y-intercept and we also used the point-slope formula when we have the slope and a point. Your homework is to finish the packet in class, and to work on pg. 37 from the algebra worktext 1-6. Be sure to put all answers in slope-intercept form!!!

Quiz Today
