THANKSGIVING BREAK( :
Presentations are finish!
I hope everyone has a safe, happy holiday.
See everyone back on Monday, December 1( :
All research is due tomorrow. Remember that if I have your Bibliography, we’ll add it to your book tomorrow.
Please check past BLOGs and notes from class to put papers in the correct order! Don’t forget to number your pages to match the Table of Content. Remember that page 1 is the first page of your outline.
Final presentations are tomorrow!!
We are winding down to the end of our research!! I know that everyone will be THANKFUL during Thanksgiving through Winter break that there will be no major projects. HANG IN THERE!!
Only two more days.
Try to have all final copies in by tomorrow, so I can quickly view them and offer any suggestions for major corrections!!
I am extending til Friday, if needed!!
If you have forgotten how to put your papers in order, check past BLOGS to see the order of everything.
Homework is to prepare for your presentations and try to have all final copies in by tomorrow (Friday if you really need it!) No late papers will be accepted after Friday, since I have already extended the deadline several times!!
Progress Reports went home today.
Please have parents sign and return them tomorrow.
I’ll check off your name and let you keep them.
Things to Remember:
Presentations went well today, though two people could not present due to their flash drives not working or due to using Microsoft 2007 and not saving it as a 2003 doc. Don’t forget that anything saved as DOCX will not work on our school computers.
Don’t forget to bring your drives in early to see if they work or to email your work to yourself or me to download!!
My MAC users…Yeah!! We will have a MAC laptop in our classroom as of tomorrow!! I’ll have it all week for your use!!
We critiqued presentation in each class and set standards for the rest of the week. Homework is to rehearse your 10 minute presentation. (5 extra if needed) Also, finish your final copies of the outline, paragraphs, and Table of Content by Thursday.
Last call for final papers if you want me to edit them is tomorrow by the end of class. This way I’ll have time to edit and return them to you for revisions before Thursday’s due date.
If your parents helped edit and you are confident in your work and do not want me to edit, that is your decision ( :
FINAL COPIES OF EVERYTHING ARE DUE BY THURSDAY, AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH PERIOD.
Anyone who has everything completed early and are ready to bind, may bring your papers..in the correct order..at any time tomorrow and Wednesday and we’ll bind them.
I went over the Table of Content with students today and gave a copy of yesterday’s BLOG to those who needed it.
4th Period was able to meet for 20 minutes with me to answer any questions, then we went to the Performing Arts Music Throughout the World Program.
