Pakbaz’s Passport to the World

McClure’s Olympic Opening Ceremony was this afternoon.

Also, we had a special visitor from Australia in our classroom today !! His soccer team came from Australia to visit the United States and to play some teams here. Team members spent the day in different classes at McClure to learn what American schools look like and to share their first hand knowledge of Australia. 

Our soccer player talked about how Australia is similiar and different from the US. We learned about Australia’s government,  money, landmarks, animals, and culture. We also learned some of unique vocabulary!

Students injoyed this preview of our Australian studies, which will begin mid-winter.
