WARM-UP: MM 2 8 10

  1. A great amount of papers were handed back (quiz corrections, graphs, late work, warm-ups). They should have been put in the graded or warm-up section of your binder.
  2. “Going with the Flow”: We discussed our journeys based on ocean currents. Students volunteered to outline their journey on the board.
  3. We read about tides: page 432-435.
  4. We watched a video streaming clip about tides.
  5. We used a balloon to demonstrate tidal bulge.
  6. We kinesthetically practiced the difference between a spring tide and a neap tide.

HYDROLOGY POST-TEST THIS FRIDAY!

HOMEWORK: Study guide, #1-12.
