Tuesday, September 25

We are presenting Getting Acquainted projects today and tomorrow.  We will complete the Power Point notes for Intellectual Property Rights.  Flashcards will be turned in as well.

Please remind your child about the Current Events Presentation required before October 15.

Due to CoGat and ITBS testing, the Vocabulary Test for Unit 3 has been changed to October 8.  The test will not be taken Thursday or Friday of this week as previously scheduled.

Early Release Day – Wednesday

School will be dismissed at 2:15.  If your child is a car rider, please remember you are expected to pick up at this time.

This is an exciting week.  We are completing a new project in class, Getting Acquainted.  We will spend Tuesday and Wednesday completing the interview process in class and compose the interview into an article.  Thursday and Friday classes will type the articles.  Final copies will be presented Monday during class.

Vocabulary Workshop Unit 2 Quiz – September 17

Lesson 2 is attached for those who may not have a book.

Monday, September 10  Skinny Monday

All classes completed Vocabulary Workshop Unit 2.  If a student did not complete Unit 2, students were instructed to do so before Thursday (A Day) or Friday (B Day). 

Tuesday, September 11 A Day Classes

Complete Vocabulary Workshop Crossword, Menu Choice for Vocabulary Activity and begin presentations.

Wednesday, September 12 B Day Classes

Complete Vocabulary Workshop Crossword, Menu Choice for Vocabulary Activity and begin presentations.

Week ending September 7

Wow!  This has been a challenging week.  We completed our Cyber Bullying projects in class Tuesday and Wednesday.  We also reviewed for our Vocabulary Workshop quiz by completing a Crossword and Word Search that focused on vocabulary recognition and synonyms and antonyms.

Thursday and Friday – Our classes completed a packet on vocabulary and case scenarios for Cyber Bullying.  We also took the test for Vocabulary Workshop Unit 1.

We will present our Cyber Bullying projects Tuesday and Wednesday during class.
