A Day Classes

1. Present Environmental Timelines during class.

2. Review Environmental Vocabulary PowerPoint.  Note:  Environmental Vocabulary Quiz Monday.  The format is matching.

3. Review Vocabulary Workshop, Unit 10.  Classes will play Vocabulary Jeopardy!  The vocabulary test is Tuesday.  Please study the Choosing the Right Word section.

B Day Classes meet Friday.

Special Note:  If you are absent, please stop by my classroom before 9:00 to for missing assignments.  Please remember that I am required to monitor the halls during homeroom and I can not stop teaching during class to prepare missing assignments for you.  If this is a problem, please write me a note and leave it with me at the end of class.

Monday – Skinny Day (All classes meet)

Students will view Video and take notes while watching the video.  Students will write a two paragraph summary of the video.

Tuesday – A Day Classes

Students will complete the Cloze Questions from the material in the video.  Students will answer questions on the Reduce, Reuse and Recycle handout.

Wednesday  – B Day Classes

Students will complete the Cloze Questions from the material in the video.  Students will answer questions on the Reduce, Reuse and Recycle handout.

Wednesday is an Early Release Day!

                                             "We’ve got them covered!"

The Junior Beta Club, Builder’s Club, and Student Council will be sponsoring McClure’s first Blanket Drive.  The drive begins Monday, February 11 and ends February 25. The blankets collected will benefit the Marietta Extension, an organization that welcomes people who are without shelter on cold winter nights. They are in great need of NEW twin size blankets, and this is the perfect opportunity for McClure to show that "We’ve got them covered!"  Please encourage your child to participate in this worthwhile endeavor.   There is a prize for the team that collects the most blankets.
