The End of the Road

Parents and Students,

This is the end of the road for us.  It has been a great year.  To celebrate the end of middle school there are several events planned for the remainder of our time together.

Thursday – Yearbooks will be distributed during homeroom.  For those students who wish to purchase a yearbook, a special sale will start around 10:00 in the theater.  Interested students should bring a check for $35 or cash in a sealed envelope.  If there are more interested students than available books, a lottery/drawing will be conducted to determine the buyers.

Students are permitted to bring cameras to school on Thursday only.  Disposable cameras will be available for sale in the school store for $5.  No camera phones will be allowed.

The Renaissance Carnival will take place for students.  Students may purchase additional items during the carnival.

Friday – Awards Ceremony

Service Learning Project

Parents & Students,

The Community Yard Sale and Recycling Campaign is scheduled for Saturday, May 17th.  This event is a great opportunity to encourage our students to think of sharing with those in need.  So far, we have not had a lot of items delivered to the school for the event.  If you are planning to contribute items, please drop off or send the items with your child before Wednesday.  We need the opportunity to sort and organize the items.  If you would like to volunteer, please contact Melanie Squire at melsquire@netscape.com for more information.

Thanks for being such a great school!

Service Learning Unit

We are entering the final stretch of the academic year!  The final unit for Impact involves a Service Learning Project.  We chose Impact Gives Back.  The project involves a community-wide recycling day and yard sale.  The proceeds from the yard sale will benefit MUST Ministries and Salvation Army.  Please read the attached flyer to learn more about the requirements for each student.

Thanks for your support throughout the year.

Have  a wonderful weekend!Download charitable_handout.pub
