Please save your Power Point as a RTF file.  Here are the steps you will need to follow.

Open your Power Point document.

Go to File

Select Save As

Select Format or Save As Type

Select RTF (Rich Text Format) or Outline or RTF.

I hope that everyone is refreshed after the Thanksgiving break with family and friends.

Just a few reminders for homeroom:

Please bring one canned good by Friday, December 5th.  Our schoolwide goal is 1200 cans to donate to needy families.

AVID Classes

7th & 8th Grade Classes: I Am Poem

6th Grade Class: I Am Poem (abbreviated version)

8th Grade Classes: Research the lifestyle that you want to live:

Where will I live? government housing, apartment, house, luxury housing

How will I travel? walk, bicycle, motorcycle, purchase used car, purchase new car, and public transportation (MARTA/CCT pass)

Necessities for me to be happy: dining out, movies, theater, concerts, sporting events (season pass or individual ticket), gym membership, books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, Videos, and hobbies (golf, tennis,…)

What will I wear? designer clothes, department store items, resale clothing (consignment), sew my own clothing, etc.

Ask your parents for assistance in estimating the cost for these items on a monthly basis.

Be prepared to discuss tomorrow, December 3rd.
