On March 25th, there will be an Accident Avoidance Workshop at Kennesaw Mountain High School hosted by SRE. The workshop is $195.00 to attend. This includes a three hour class and four and a half hours on intensive driving instruction. A parent must attend with their student. Please see the attached handout for more information.

Allatoona High School is having an informational meeting on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 6:30 pm in their Auditorium.  Please come and learn about course offerings, graduation requirements, grading policies and more.

Allatoona will be hosting an Advanced Placement Showcase on January 12th at 6:30 in the Allatoona theater.  This would be a great opportunity to learn more about AP classes that are offered at Allatoona and how they will benefit your student.  Attached you will find a flyer with more detailed information.

8th grade Career Day is Friday November 20th, 2009. Eighth grade students will spend the day participating in a variety of interesting sessions learning more about college options and career paths. We will have many guest speakers that day including 23 working professionals in our community and our keynote speaker Michelle Cox. Michelle Cox trains guide dogs for people with handicaps. Parents, please adjust your holiday schedule to make sure your student attends school on what promises to be an exciting and informative day!

8th Grade Students: Application packets are now in the Counseling Office for The North Cobb School for International Studies.  This is the newest Magnet Program in Cobb County.  The focus at North Cobb School for International Studies is on Social Studies, Science and/or Business and Technology on a global level.
