Sallas’ Music Notes

This Friday is  KMHS Band night, all 8th graders zoned for KMHS are invited to attend the football game and perform in the stands with the High School Band.  We have been working on the stand tunes in class and are ready to go.  Please make sure the field trip permission forms are in by Thursday.  Students should be dropped off at the front of KMHS around 5:30 – 6pm Friday afternoon (please eat before you come).  T-shirts will be given out when students arrive.  Dress is casual (jeans will be fine).  The game will be over at approx. 10pm.  Pick-up will be in the courtyard at the entrance of KMHS.  Please sign your child out with Ms. Sallas after the game.  We hope all students will participate!!!

All 6th graders need their instruments at school no later than Monday September 15, 2008.  We have started working on the mouthpiece and will start assembling and playing next week. 

Wednesday and Thursday are Olympic sign-ups, NO INSTRUMENTS are needed.  We will play on Friday!!
