Sallas’ Music Notes

The last day to play for a higher grade is Friday Sept. 25th.  Please practice and come in before school to replay your grades!!!!!

All-State and Honor Band help sessions will be Monday morning and Thursday Afternoon until 5:30pm.  Students must have a ride at 5:30 to stay for the afternoon help session

Goal for the week is to memorize the first 3 GMEA scales Confidently!!!

Due to the weather forecast Kennesaw Mtn has decided to reschedule their 8th grade night.

The Make up date will be October 23rd, 2009.  Please make plans to attend!!!!

All 8th grade students attending the Allatoona Band 8th grade night need to be at Allatoona High School, rain or shine, at 6pm. If it is raining the festivities will be held inside.

Parents, please pick up your child promptly at 10pm. All students must check out with Mrs. McCardel!!!!

All order forms and money should be turned in on Monday Sept. 14th. Parents please write one check made out to McClure Middle School for the entire order.

Students, keep up the great work and remember to bring in your forms to redeem for prizes.

8th Grade students attending Allatoona High School are invited to attend and perform at the football ballgame on September 18th.  Parents should drop their students off at the front door of the High School at 6:30pm.  Parents are to check out their students  with Ms. McCardel at the front door at 10pm  Students may not leave until they have checked out.

Please be prompt in picking up your child, this will help ensure you get out before the end of the ballgame.

Permission slips will be sent home this week, please sign and return these as soon as possible.

The 6th grade band carnival is this Saturday at Allatoona High School.  Parent will need to drop you off at the front of the school between 8:30am and 9am.  Parents should plan to be back at Allatoona at 3pm for the concert. Come prepared to have a great time!!!
