Hmm…what should I tell you? :)  I am a UGA grad.  GO DAWGS!!!  My teaching career includes four years at Sprayberry and three years at a high school in Jacksonville, FL.  I currently teach American Literature and am the yearbook adviser and Anchor Club sponsor.  Have you ordered your 2010-2011 yearbook yet? I’ve also taught 9th Lit/Comp.

Before I began teaching, I worked as a photographer liaison and photo editor for six years at a stock photography agency in Florida.  I’ve been married 14 years and have two children – Ashley (12) and Grant (5).  Ashley is in the 7th grade, and Grant is in kindergarten. Also, I have three cats – Jasmine, Sawyer, and Keller, one rambunctious Golden Retriever named Riley, and our newest addition Leo the Shih Tzu. I almost forgot Grant’s fish named Sunshine.

I love teaching American Literature, and I hope you leave my classroom with an appreciation of the literature that built our great nation.

Happy reading!
