Good Afternoon Students and Parents,

Today we began our last week of DGP with our Tuesday instructions for week 30 (although we will continue to review and have DGP quizzes throughout the year).

Next, I answered questions on the biography project. Please check out the post for the preliminary checklist for the biography project.

Finally, we completed reading practice 3 in class and began checking the answers in class.

Dear Students and Parents,

We began our day with a brainpop review on citing sources. Next, I explained what is due when on our research project, giving examples and answering questions. Then the class had the opportunity to copy their answers to their “book questions” that had been previously turned in. Finally students were able to spend the rest of the class period working on their “created answers” for their project.

We began our web research in the media center today. Today we learned how to use “Easy Bib” and the resources in Destiny. Tomorrow we will be back in the media center. Make sure you have your list of biography questions and your citation for your biography that we completed in class.

The reading comprehension grades (as a whole) are not very good- Too many careless errors. Those grades will appear on the 4th nine weeks grades/
