Solomon’s Adventures

With Olympics just around the corner we are training our students by introducing them to some of the events that will happen on their field day. We have been busy with Track and Field events (running long jump, hurdles, relays, high jump, shot put and discus. Last week we played team handball and floor hockey. It feels like the Olympics is going to be high spirited and competitive. “Let the games begin!” (Week of Sept. 29th)

The PE department wants to welcome you back to another great year at McClure. Remember – don’t be “chicken” to meet someone new or to try something new. Also, make sure you know who encourages you and who you can encourage to be successful.

We will be offering T-shirts and shorts for sale at the Open Houses. It will be a pre-pay so we know exactly what sizes to order and how many to order. The cost of the T-shirts will probably be $10.00 and the shorts will be $15.00. We can’t wait for you to see them!

Sign-ups for volunteering to help during Olympics will also be available. The Olympics will be the week of October 8th.

The students continue to amaze us and remind us that we are lucky to be at McClure!
