Bruner's Blog

This is my 5th year as a Special Education teacher after teaching Social Studies for 13 years. I enjoy being able to help students learn my favorite subject.

I am married to Marie Bruner, a Spanish teacher at Harrison High School.  Our children, Bethany and Aaron are Harrison graduates who are involved in social work and mission work.  We are very proud of them!

Outside of school and family, I love sports!  I am a huge Notre Dame Football fan and enjoy watching my San Francisco Giants play baseball. I also like to go to see McClure students when they participate in sports.

I sponsor the Strategy Games club and I enjoy watching students learn and use their critical thinking skills to participate in chess games and other competitions. I also make sure that we always have the cornhole games ready for major McClure events.  Go Mustangs!
