March 2nd, 2010

Students have two homework assignments that are hands-on and need parent verification. Every student was given a double sided hard copy of both assignments. All classes are anticipating this unit because they get to eat whatever they cook! Before students go into the kitchen labs and prepare a recipe, they must learn about food safety as well as kitchen safety. In addition, students must understand how to read and interpret a recipe so the finished product is a quality one worth repeating.

CRAFTS CLUB NEWS

March 2nd, 2010

The Crafts Club students meet at least twice a month; the 1st and 3rd Monday morning at 8:00 in the FACS room with Mrs. Gingras and Mrs. Utz. The students help each other out as they construct their pajama pants or pajama shorts. Many of these sewers have discovered how much they enjoy the process and are eager to meet more often.
