About

Hello!

My name is Kristal Goelz and I teach Spanish I at McClure Middle School.  On this page, I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself.

I grew up in Cobb County and graduated from Harrison High School (Go Hoyas!) in 1993.  Afterwards, I attended Kennesaw Sate University and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Spanish Education degree in 1997.

I am married and have two precious daughters.

My first teaching job was at Smitha Middle School.  I taught at Smitha until our first daughter was born.  At that point, I took 5 years off from teaching to stay at home.

After staying home for a few years with our children, I went back to teaching at North Ccobb High School.  I was only there for one semester.  I LOVED middle school too much and had to get back!  I took a position at Lost Mountain Middle School.  I was there for one school year until I transferred to McClure Middle School.

This is my 4th year at McClure.  I love it!  I have the best students and co-workers.
