Today in Pre-algebra we reviewed for CRCT with a packet.  There is no homework for this weekend.

Today in Pre-algebra we took our test on Indirect Measure.  Homework for tonight is Georgia Homework and Practice workbook:

3/4 & 5th Page 100 (10-16)

6th & 7/8 Page 100 (1-9)

Toda y in Pre-algebra we worked on Study Guide 11-6 (direct Measure) which I picked up for 6th & 7/8 periods.  We then worked on a performance task called Shadow Math which was picked up in all classes for a grade.  Homework for tonight is a 1/4 sheet word problem on indirect measure and a CRCT homework sheet.  The Indirect measure test is Thursday.

Today in Pre-algebra we practiced our indirect measure with 3 different worksheets including one on problem solving.  Homework for tonight is as follows:

3/4 & 5th ractice B

6th & 7/8: Practice A

Indirect measure test is Thursday.

Today in Pre-algebra we took what we learned yesterday on indirect measure and we went outside to try and find out the height of a light pole by measuring it’s shadow.  We then practiced indirect measure some more with Study Guide 11-6.  There is no homework for this weekend.  The indirect measure test is next Thursday.

Today in Pre-algebra we looked at how we find the missing side of a figure or an object with indirect measure.  We took notes on Indirect Measure and worked examples in our Worktext pages 179-180.  Homework for tonight is the Georgia Homework and Practice book page 49.  Indirect Measure test is scheduled for next Thursday.

Today in Pre-algebra we took our pretest onM7G3 Properties of Similarity.  We then took notes on proportions which will help us tomorrow when we start indirect measure.  We worked in our Worktext pages 176-177.  3/4 and 5th period learned to determine whether a figure was similar based on angles and tic marks on the sides of the figure.  They then worked Practice 5-6.  Homework for everyone tonight is to practice proportions with pages 46 & 48 in the small workbook called Georgia Homework and Practice.

Today  in Pre-algebra we reviewed for our Transformations test that will be tomorrow.  Homework for tonight is to study for the test.

Today in Pre-algebra we went to the PC Lab for CRCT review on SkillsTutor except 7/8 period who continued working on their performance task “Dilations on the Coordinate Plane”.  The Transformation test (reflections, rotations, translations, dilations) is Tuesday 2/23.  There is no homework this weekend.

Today in Pre-algebra we took another day to finish the performance task ” Dilations on the Coordinate Plane”.  It was collected at the end of the class today except 7/8 period which will work on it tomorrow due to Friday’s snow day.  Students who were requizzing on the dilations quiz did so today also.  Homework for tonight is a CRCT review sheet .  The transformations test is Tuesday 2/23.
