Today we reviewed similarity and proportions.  We discussed congruence of polygons and proportional parts.  HOMEWORK:  Worktext pages 198 and 199.  QUIZ on Thu, 3/4, over Geometry portion of Unit 6.  TEST on Tue, 3/9, over UNIT 6.

Today we reviewed Geometry from 6th and 7th and learned a few new Geometry terms.  The first part of class we reviewed for tomorrow’s quiz over parallel and perpendicular line equations.  HOMEWORK:  Study for quiz and do Geometry worksheet front and back

Today we learned how to write the equation of parallel and perpendicular lines.  Students should have several examples of each in their notes to help with their homework.  HOMEWORK:   Parallel side of Worksheet/1 – 12 and Perpendicular side of Worksheet/1 – 21

Today we reviewed the concepts from Unit 5 Study Guide 2.  HOMEWORK:  Review Worksheet 3

Students got their test back today.  Some did really well and some did not.  Ask your child how they did.  I am giving them a second chance to do better.  We are reviewing the material today, Wed, and Thu and taking a Unit 5 TEST again on Friday.  That is the grade I am going to keep.  Encourage your child to take advantage of the review so they can do better.  HOMEWORK:  Review Worksheet #1
