The test is on Thursday and will cover similar figures, indirect measurement, scale factor and scale drawings.
Tonight’s homework is a worksheet 8-7 page 66 only.  Do all 10.  It is okay to use a calculator.  Show all work

Today in class we worked on scale drawings.  We were given a scale, for example 1 in = 20 miles, and we calculated either the actual distance or the distance on a map or drawing.

Today in class we practiced solving for unknown sides and angles of corresponding figures.
Tonight’s homework is a worksheet with 10 problems.  Students were able to start solving in class.  Homework is what was not finished.  Students are able to use a calculator to solve.

Today in class we started a new unit on Similar Figures.  We can use proportions (the box) to find the measure of a missing side.  Students also learned that corresponding angles of similar figures are EQUAL.

Today in class we worked on probability scenarios where students had to figure out the Theoretical and Experimental Probability for various scenarios such as rolling a die, spinning a color spinner, tossing a coin, and drawing cards.
