I now have my blog up and running! How exciting! I appreciate your patience as it has taken some time to get my blog established. Now for the current events in Mrs. Mullen’s class….

So far….
We have had lots of fun getting to know each other! I have learned some really cool things about you and hopefully you have learned some interesting things about me. I LOVE teaching social studies because it involves my favorite subject….people and places!

We have also been reviewing geography terms and I have heard some pretty interesting weather forecasts this week! I hope that most of what I heard doesn’t come true because there were many erupting volcanoes, man-eating alligators in the swamps and melting glaciers heading our way! There were also many casualties at the Grand Canyon which was very sad!

Today, we reviewed the five themes of geography and Mrs. Mullen is still hearing that tune in her head from the video we saw! Which is your favorite theme? Mine is movement because I have fun sharing ideas from me to you:)

Tomorrow we will be putting on our creative hats again by drawing our thoughts about the five themes. Remember your colored pencils!
