Today we presented our final project for the year. They were very good! Schedule for the rest of the week:

Today we worked on our Mr. Cloud project for the book "Year of Impossible Goodbyes". Tomorrow we will be presenting in class.

ANNOUNCEMENT: IF YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR PROJECT TOMORROW, YOU WILL RECEIVE NO CREDIT!

Today we took a quiz over the book and started working on our final project for the year. We will finish this project on Monday and present it to the class on Tuesday.

Make sure that you bring your textbook to class on Monday if you did not bring it today!

Final due date for make-up work will be on Monday.

We finished reading "Year of Impossible Goodbyes" today and everyone agreed that it was a good book. It is interesting to think that this book is based on a true story. Many sad things happened during this time in history. Tomorrow, after our short test, we will start on a final project.

VERY IMPORTANT: BRING YOUR SOCIAL STUDIES TEXTBOOK IN TOMORROW TO TURN IN !!!!!!

Today we read chapter 7 and part of chapter 8. Remember, you have several items due for this book. I have spoken to everyone who is missing work. Make sure that you turn in all work because all will be graded.

After finishing chapter 5, we worked on "My Personal Dictionary" and a worksheet over chapters 1-5. Monday, you will have an opportunity to finish both of these worksheets. Remember, you have a quiz over the vocabulary words on Tuesday.

We have started a novel study with the book "Year of Impossible Goodbyes". I am excited! This book is really interesting! We began by creating a timeline of the events that shaped Korea’s past. We are defining vocabulary words for the first five chapters and hopefully will start reading tomorrow.
