Are you feeling lucky??? The first five people to come and tell me what the year is in the beginning of the book wins a jolly rancher!

We will start with our book study tomorrow. “Year of Impossible Goodbyes” is a story about a Korean family that has to endure the Japanese occupation in their country. When the Japanese flee and the Russian forces come into Korea, this family has to make a very bold decision. We will look at the history behind the book in class tomorrow.

Mrs. Fenton and I decided that you all deserve a treat for your diligence on the CRCT. We are watching the popular movie, Mulan!

Today we watched a very informative video on Vietnam call “Awakening Vietnam”. A perfect way to end our week of review! Remember to get a good night’s rest Sunday night and have a hearty breakfast on Monday morning. We want to shine this year on the Social Studies CRCT!
