We made it to Friday! Today we learned about the five fields of social studies and why the social science of studying our world is so important! Get ready…we are off to the Middle East on Monday!

We reviewed for our vocabulary quiz by playing vocabulary macaroni today. We also used desk olympics to configure our room. Can you believe that 7/8th period put the room back in order in  4 seconds? I have never seen a time that fast! Kudos to teamwork!

I hope that you have had a wonderful summer and are looking forward to learning about our world in social studies class this year! We have started the year getting to know each other and are reviewing map skills for the first couple of weeks.
