Warm-Up: RP #4 Math Monday

Total lung capacity is about 6Liters. A person can exhale about 3.6 Liters. What total percent of lung capacity can not be exhaled?

Classwork:

Today we took a pre-quiz on the vocabulary from the respiratory and circulatory systems. Congratulations Ian Hoover and Matthew Siragusa  on making a 100% (no flashcards for you!) We also had a few runner-ups who only missed a few.  (I told you in class who you were and you are exempt from flashcards as well. )

We heard from the lungs today to determine if they should be kept in our human body corporation or fired. The majority  of  board members gave the thumbs up to keep them!  Tomorrow we will be working on our Lung Capacity Lab… Do you think the contest was fair or unfair?

Homework: Tonight you need to look over your vocabulary words and definitions. Create either flashcards or a word flipbook to use as a study tool. These are due on Wednesday.
