Literacy Night
We invite you to celebrate Read Across America Week by participating in Literacy Night on Thursday, March 4th at 7:00 p.m. Students have already begun donating new & slightly used books to participate in the Student Book Swap which begins at 6:30
in the Cafeteria for students who have vouchers. At 7:00, Mrs. Harpin, our Media Specialist, will present a brief program on using the Destiny online catalog to help students select books and using the Cobb Virtual Library to locate safe, reliable, free information for projects. A coffeehouse with an open mic will be set up in the cafeteria for students to share poetry and dramatic readings. We will also have a discussion group focusing on Randy Pausch’s The Last Lecture.
