Our expository writing unit began today. Read our essential question below. Next, read my answer. You may have your own ideas about how you would answer the essential question.
Essential Question: How can I better inform my audience
Answer: You can better inform you audience by using traditional writing structures for conveying information. Examples of these structures are: cause and effect, compare and contrast, chronological ,and problem and solution.
Media Cener: Our class is in the media center on Tuesday and Thursday. On Tuesday,please bring any overdue books, so that you may checkout a good book to read during our break. The focus of of media center visit on Thursday is publishing our previous writing projects.
Homework: Please work on your “turkey” paragraph using the rubric that was given to you in class .
