Arguing with Yourself
Introducing the IMHO (In My Humble Opinion) bulletin board! I have listened to you discuss and debate many different topics in class for the past month. I have learned that each of you has many heartfelt and well thought out opinions about a variety of subjects and that you enjoy sharing them with others.
This is your chance to share your opinions with your classmates in both classes. I am asking you to write a brief essay (five paragraphs or less) sharing your opinion on a specific topic each month. I will post the best responses on the bulletin board in my room. This is YOUR opinion, I am interested in hearing it, but I am even more interested in how you choose to back up your opinion. We are in the computer lab so you have access to plenty of information to support your ideas.
Please remember to use appropriate grammar and composition in your paper and most importantly, make sure you show proper respect for your readers and any opinions that they may already hold.
You paper must be saved to the student shared drive by the end of the period. Navigate to Student Shared -> Gandolfo -> IMHO folder to save your work.
