Greek and Roman mythology: Prior to reading The Odyssey, we will be discussing some of the basics of Greek and Roman mythology. Read the introduction and chapters 1 and 2 in the book Myths and their Meaning by Max Herzberg. The handouts for taking notes can be found here:
