Current Writing Contests!
Here are three current writing contests for you to work on! (Certainly you could do brainstorming and drafts in your Writer’s Notebook!) 
ESSAY CONTEST – Sponsored by Creative Communication, students who “win” this contest are published in their anthology! The essays may be on ANY NONFICTION topic and can be no longer than 250 words. See me to turn in entries and I”ll mail them in for you! Turn in to me by 2-15.
POETRY CONTEST - Also sponsored by Creative Communication. Any form – any topic. Can be no longer than 21 lines. Turn in to me by April 2.
