Narrative Independent Asssignment
All of the directions and the rubric for grading are attached – Please read carefully! Narrative
You have the sample ANALYSIS of the article – that’s what we did in class: labeling the sentences that are examples of the different elements of the narrative standard. Here is my sample EVALUATION paragraph of the same article – it serves as a good example for you – please be sure to look at it in its entirety: first, I give you the sample paragraph and then I go through and break it down into it’s different pieces to show you how to create your own. You will need to CITE each of your articles – that means the author, title of the article, title of the newspaper/magazine, date, etc. There is a certain format that language arts classes use for this – it’s called MLA. This website will help you cite your articles correctly: Son of Citation Machine-MLA. On the left side of the page, you’ll choose whether your article was a newspaper or a magazine article, and then you simply fill in the blanks.
Do not wait until the last minute; this will take some time to complete! You do not have to turn them all in at once; you may turn them in as you complete them. Adjusted Due date: Monday 10/5 B – Tuesday 10/6 A
