Reading Requirements
Boiled down in a nice nutshell…
*4 books per 9 weeks (a “book” is at least 150 pages….)
*Various genres – choose based on your Bingo sheet – AT LEAST 2 NONFICTION PER 9 WEEKS (except for first 9 weeks!)
*When you finish the book: 1) record the information (title, page numbers, genre, etc) on your Bingo sheet, and 2) either do a booktalk for the class or complete a book mark (book marks located in the white drawers on the side table in the classroom – you can get them whenever you need them). That’s how you get “credit” for completing the books – the Bingo sheet AND a booktalk/book mark.
