3) Multiplying fractions- Change all mixed numbers and whole numbers to improper. Cross simplify if needed (if you want too, Matthew H.:)) Multiply numerators and then denominators. Check your signs. And simplify again if needed. All answers need to be in simplest form and in mixed number form.
HW: Practice 6-3 2003- Many students were able to omit some of the problems. I believe everyone needs to do # 14 and 16. Show all work!!!!!

2) Adding fractions- make sure you have a common denominator!! You may use a scientific calculator to CHECK not SOLVE!!!!
HW: Practice 5-5 (only the addition problems) Show all work!!!!!
Tests were handed back. If you have a 79 or lower you MUST have it signed by Monday.

HW: Problem solving workbook p. 95-96. I gave out the problem solving workbooks today. If you do not have your workbook you can access it on-line.
Quiz on Tuesday over subtracting integers.
Test over adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing integers will be on Friday, Oct. 21.
