Math 6/7
1) Reflecting triangles
2) Checked HW

NO STUDY SESSION TOMORROW MORNING!!!! I have a meeting:))
1) Translating triangles
2) Checked HW
3) Reflections over the x and y axis. Remember when reflecting over the x-axis (x,y) = (x,-y). The x values stay the same and the y values are the opposite. Reflecting over the y-axis, the x values are the opposite and the y values stay the same. (x,y) = (-x,y)
Quiz on Friday over translations and reflections.

Math 6/7
1) Rotational symmetry
2) Checked HW
3) Rotational symmetry- we realized that we can have rotational symmetry without any lines of symmetry. Take 360 and divide by the number of rotations = degrees of rotation.
4) Symmetry task- It will be a TEST grade.
HW: Language of Symmetry WS. Sorry I cannot upload it to my blog because I do not have an electronic copy:(
