4) Volume cylinder notes- we discovered today that the height and area of the base plays a huge part in the volume of a cylinder. We created a formula from previous lessions. V = Bh, which means pi x r squared x height.

HW: PS 10-8. It is on the back of 10-7, which we did last week. If you do not have it, go to the online textbook to chapter 10 lesson 7 and find the problem solving worksheet. Like always, you must show all that you put in the calculator in order for you to get credit!!!!

Quiz Wednesday on volume of prisms, pyramids, cylinders and cones.

Happy Pi Day!!!

Today we celebrated pi day by measuring round things, oreo challenge, made bracelets for the first 21 digits of pi, made pi visors, and counted the number of times each number came up in the 1st 100 digits of pi. I hope everyone had a good time:))) Now on Sunday I want you to celebrate “PI” Day with your family. Teach them a thing or two about pi.

HW: You need to create your graphs from the 100 digits of pi and write a summary paragraph about our day. I will give 1 maverick money for every 3 cool facts about pi.I will attach the cool facts I found so you do not repeat them. Have a great weekend.
