Tuesday, October 6

1)  6th grade event is on Thursday, October 8. The price is $5 for pizza and a drink.

2) Teacher-student football game is Friday, October 9 from 4:30-5:15. Twenty Maverick monies to play and 5 maverick monies to watch.

Thursday, October 1

Sixth grade event (pizza party and music) will be held next Thursday, Oct. 8th from 4:15 to 6:00.  Admission is $5.00 and that will include pizza and a soft drink for each student.  There will be candy and snacks for sale at the event as well.  Parents who wish to volunteer can contact Maria Harbin.  All students should be picked up at the front of the school at 6:00 PM.

Pictures have been rescheduled to October 22. Please keep your picture form and money at home until then.

Start looking for your red t-shirts. Olympic week is next week and to show your spirit, wear a red shirt every day next week. Go Cananda!!!!

Monday= Opening ceremony 2:30-4:00- shortened schedule.

Tuesday = Field events- no academics or connections.

Wednesday=Movie during connections.

Thursday= Academic bowl

Friday= Closing ceremonies 2:30- 4:00- shortened schedule

Pictures will be taken on Thursday, September 24. All picture forms were given out today in homeroom. EVERYONE will get their picture taken. Bring in the money on THURSDAY if you would like to buy them.

Thursday, September 17

Progress reports were handed out yesterday. They are to be signed and returned by Friday, September 18.

Enjoy the City books or orders need to be returned tomorrow.

Olympics are coming….September 28-October 2. Do you have your red shirt ready?

Pinnacle numbers were handed out to each student. Please do not loose your username or password because I do not have a second copy. Put the login somewhere safe!!!!

Open house is tomorrow night at 7:00. Hope to see you all there. Kids DO NOT need to attend. Actually we might not have enough chairs for them to sit in. So if you do not need to bring them please keep them at home. This night is for the parents:)))

Open House is Tuesday, September 15 at 7:00.

Enjoy the City books or money is due September 18th. You must either  return the book or send in $20.

Thursday, September 10

Open House is Tuesday, September 15 at 7:00. At that time you will travel from class to class and get important information. You will also be able to pick up you Pinnacle username and password. Pinnacle is our new grading system where you will be able to access your child’s grades at any time. It is a great tool!!!!

Olympic t-shirts will be on sale Thursday morning. Shirts are $6.

Cookbooks are on sale too!!! They are $12. Please attach an order form with your check.

Olympic T-shirts went on sale today for $6. Each team will be a different country with a different colored t-shirt. Buy one to show your spirit and sportsmanship for your country. The t-shirts will be on sale this week—-DON’T MISS OUT!!!!!

Pinnacle sign-up is here!! Now you can access your child’s grades on-line:))) All the information you have ever wanted right at your finger tips. You may stop by the school from 5-7 to get your username and password to have access to Pinnacle. Come and get it now…….

 

Wednesday, August 12

All students received a Cobb County folder with important information in it. Please take the time to read and sign all items that need to be returned. Paperwork must be returned by Tuesday, August 18 in order for a locker to be issued.

Thursday, August 13

1) Any student wishing to be in band, orchestra or chorus needs to turn in the yellow form that was sent home. Each student will hand in the form to Mrs. Ryan.

2) All paperwork from the Cobb  County folder needs to be returned before August 18. If all paperwork is not returned then a locker will not be issued to the student.

Friday, August 14

1) Cobb  County paperwork is due on Tuesday, August 18 or your locker will not be issued.

2) All Performing Arts permission forms need to be returned by Tuesday, August 18 or your locker will not be issued.

Monday, August 17

All performing arts permission sheet needs to be turned in by Friday, August 21.

Tuesday, August 18

Today we got our lockers!!! Please make sure you have your combination somewhere safe. DO NOT give anyone your combination and you cannot switch lockers with anyone else without teacher permission.
