Today in Mathematics 6A students worked as a team to complete a Math Vocabulary Puzzle.  The students raced against other teams to be the first 3 Teams done.  We then practiced a few more Percent of a Number problems.

Today in Mathematics 6A we completed a Computation Practice and had a 60 Problem Mad Minute Challenge.
We also talked about percents and practiced how to determine the percent of a number.

Today in Mathematics 6A – we completed some really tough, challenging problems converting fractions to decimals and then to percents.
Students flexed their Division Skills – with 80 Division problems completed in 5 minutes or less…
We will continue down another avenue with Percents to end the 2nd Nine-Weeks.

Today the students worked really hard in Mathematics 6A.  First we practiced drawing 10X10 Grids and shading percentages and then we practiced converting percents to fractions and simplifying. 
Then we challenged ourselves with our Multiplication Skills with a timed Skill Drill.  Last, we completed an assignment involving conversions of percents to decimals, and vice versa.
