Today we took the short quiz over the periodic table and then reviewed the information for the first half of the chemistry of cooking unit. The assessment for this half will be on Wednesday for B-day and on Thursday for A-day.
Unfortunately, behavior has been less than wonderful. I know that as we get closer to the end of week it is more and more difficult to focus. Students were warned that if their classroom behavior was not good they would not be participating in the pancake lab. Sadly, there are already students who will have to do the alternate assessment. I am currently working on a study guide for those students and will have it posted by mid-day tomorrow.
Students in my 5B class, since half of the class was trying to be cooperative while the others were off task only those who were off task will be completing the alternate assessment. If you’re not sure which category you fit in, come see me and I’ll let you know.
