We have made some important changes to the procedures for registering your Reading Bowl team, as well as the actual competition itself. New this year, we are asking that all team coaches attend a mandatory coaches meeting prior to registering their teams. There are two meeting dates from which to choose: Tuesday, September 25th, 6 PM-7:30 PM, or Monday, October 8, 6 PM-7:30 PM. Coaches only need to attend one of these two meetings. At the meeting, team coaches will receive a registration form so that they can register their team.

We have also changed the times for the Ruffin Reading Bowl competition. This year, elementary school (grades 4-5) students will compete on Saturday, January 19, from 9 AM-12 PM, and middle (grades 6-8) and high schools (grades 9-12) will compete on the same day from 2 PM-5 PM. Both competitions will be held at McEachern High School.
