We took a benchmark test on Monday that was an overview of the year’s lessons.
This week we will continue to practice our basics skills for algebra/math concepts. We reviewed Order of Operations and will address solving two step equations.
Later in the week, we will use Music with Math to practice fractions. We are also refining our multiplication facts.

We will continue our math unit using mythology this week. On Friday, we plotted the constellation of the Lion from one of Hercules’s 10 tasks. We then had to dilate it with a scale factor of two, and plot the new image.
Today, we will graph lines from given equations. These will be the arrows shot from Athena’s bow. The students will be reviewing some skills and getting prepared for 8th grade linear equations. Tuesday we will continue with linear equations and graphing.
