Today we have a substitute. They will take a quiz on direct variations. They were given a practice quiz for homework that is exactly like the quiz. I hope they do well.
The other work they are to do is review sheets on graphing the coordinates and solving equations. These will count toward their Review work category.
We will work on word problems for direct variations on Friday. Monday will begin Indirect Variations.

QUIZ TOMORROW
We reviewed our homework by letting students put the problems on the board and then check their work. They then were allowed to work in groups of three and complete the Practice A and B worksheet.
They were given a practice quiz for their quiz tomorrow. The answer key is listed here. They can check to see how well they did and hopefully find their errors tonight. They also have a study guide to review and use for the practice quiz.

Each student was also shown their current progress report and grade. They were made aware of any missing assignments and encouraged to bring them in. Extra copies were made available if they needed them.
