Today we continued using verbal expressions and changing them into mathematical expressions. They each have a yellow graphic organizer with the words and their mathemetical translation. They were also encouraged to take their worktexts home to help with their homework. It has problems that we worked on in class as well as more word translations.

I am trying something new. The attachment above is the smart board lesson we did today. I will try to post these as I do a smart board lesson.

Today we learned about algebraic expressions. We use variables to represent numbers. The problems we did in class had numbers replacing variables, and then solving the expressions.
