<p>Tuesday &#8211; We took the Benchmark test today over the 2nd nine weeks. This is a county test. It does not count for a grade.</p>
<p>Wednesday &#8211; We will review constructions for our test on Thursday. They need to know how to form each construction. The test gives examples of a construction and asks what needs to be done next. It also refers to vocabulary and symbols of geometry. They will have a study guide. (attached here as well)</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Warm ups have been reviewing math using CRCT type questions. We are working on test taking skills and actually doing the problems and not just guessing an answer.</p>
<p>Lesson today was review. They filled out a study guide for a new quiz. They did not do well on the quiz from Monday. They will retake both on Friday.</p>
<p>We did not introduce a new construction today. We will do perpendicular lines on Wednesday and practice all the constructions.</p>
<p>Thursday is the Benchmark Test in the Mac Lab.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We have continued our constructions by bisecting an angle today. The students currently have 4 color coded constructions that we have learned so far: copy segment, copy angle, bisect segment, bisect angle. If they have a compass at home, it would make their practice much easier. We will learn three new constructions next week.</p>
<p>Monday is a quiz on their vocabulary and these four constructions. They will be allowed to use their notes for constructions, but they do need to practice them. They will not be allowed to use their notes on the vocabulary and definitions.</p>
