Tuesday's classwork: Text page 667 # 4-6. Homework: Page 667 # 1-3

Wednesday: Classwork Page 673 # 1-11 and 20-23. Homework: page 658 # 1-4

Thursday:  Classwork Solve algebraically and graphically 2 problems

        1. 3y – 2x =11

            y + 2x =9

        2. 4x – y =6

           -x + y =3

Homework Graph these. Write the solution (1 problem)

    y = 1/2 x +2

    y = -x -1

Special note: The Kennesaw Mountain Rising 9th Grade Parent Night will be held on Tuesday, March 31st at 7:00 in the Kennesaw Mountain theater. Unfortunately, the Department Heads will NOT be available for questions after the presentation as originally planned. However, the program will include a ton of valuable information and we hope you will be able to attend. Thank you!

Homework – 3 problems on systems of equations

Math Rotation

The math department will be rotating classes this week as we review different units covered in eighth grade. There will be a "ticket out the door" summary at the end of each class which will be included as a test grade for the week. Students will not be given homework this week.

Benchmark testing will be taken again next week. For first and second quarter test results, please contact me. Encourage your child to use usatestprep.com or myskillstutor.com for practice for the upcoming state tests.

Tuesday – Worksheet 12-1 and 12-3 (problem solving).

Thursday – Finish table and grid.

Please note: The McClure Counseling Department is hosting a Parent Seminar next Tuesday, March 17th at 8:30 in the morning in the Professional Development Room at McClure. The seminar will focus on Internet Safety and you will leave with many different tips on how to keep your child safe when it comes to our ever-changing technology.
