7th: ) Describe osmosis and give an example.Osmosis is the overall movement of water through a semi-permeable membrane from an area of high concentration until it reaches a state of equilibrium. We discussed how osmosis is different from diffusion, and did two demonstrations to enhance the concepts. We did some more study of the microscope and I gave you a visual of a microscope to refer to and study. Have your vocabulary completed and study the parts of the microscope for your homework.
