Today students were to copy the DG 4 warm up questions, (quiz on Monday), then turn in the journal entry about the activity stations, then students were involved in a plague play, which was great, and then to top it off, a short 7 minute video clip about the bubonic plague. I asked students to figure out what a third of each class was, example, 3rd period had 24 students present, so a third, they told was 8 students, correct! Now those 8 students were students who contracted the plague based on approximate historical calculations. I also asked students to think about the plague relates to the five themes of geography, which led to a discussion. Below you will find a quick link to a map we used in some classes today, that shows of when and where the plague spred. Great day students!!!

Today you worked in stations, so, we postponed the DG quiz until tomorrow and pushed the Chapter 10 TEST to THURSDAY. We will review tomorrow after the feudal activity is finished.
Students had 7 stations to visit today and accomplish a small task at each one. They had 8 minutes per station to do this. We were focusing on the social order and life during the Middle Ages, with a specific interest on feudalism. Below you will find numerous resources that we used in class or were a reference used. The assignment itself is explained in the powerpoint link below. Students will be given a sheet of copy paper for the coat of arms and the castle assignment.
