Today students copied ten questions then listened to the video clip (10 minutes) and answered them. Our focus was on the physical aspects of Australia. Then after the video clip, students were to read a passage on Australia and Oceania from the Coach Book CRCT Review, and answer ten questions.
Today students copied the rest of the warm up questions, then tests were returned and we went over the correct answers (if time was allowed), lastly, we heard from Mrs. Bowles about AVID. A tremendous program to help students become organized and more focused about academic efforts. GoAnimate.com: AVID by profhausdorf

Today students copied the warm up questions about Australia, then took the pre-test for Latin America (after Australia), and created 10 sentences using Australian words common to their vocabulary, as an introduction to our unit.
Today students reviewed in stations. We had folders at each station with content material that will be on the test. We will go over the correct answers right before the test tomorrow. The warm up quiz was given in all classes except 2nd period, your quiz is tomorrow. I briefly went over the study guide from the yesterday’s blog and will attach a newer word document below. Please review vocabulary tonight and make sure you’ve read the chapter and look over your warm up questions.
Today students completed the warm up questions, Quiz tomorrow, then got started with our review material. There were several handouts in the middle of the 4 top desk formations, including Vocabulary Practice, Map Skills, and Culture True/False. Students were asked to complete these handouts using textbooks, discussion, and any notes. One of these assignments will be for a grade. So, out of those three assignments, I am choosing one to grade. We will go over alot of material tomorrow.
